A new library for the architecture institute of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. While holding a destinct collection of architecture literature, this building offers quiet and isolated study places as well as open spaces and public meeting areas.

Constructed entirely out of wood, an architectural play of massive and light structure creates this library’s unique atmosphere, staging a stunning view over the valley. Additionally, the roof terrace acts like an extension to the square in front of the building, forming a public platform for events and hang-outs.
